Mother of 5 could be the next Vice President of the United States of America

Sarah Palin, mother of five, Governor of Alaska, could be the next Vice President of the United States of America!
Absolutely amazing. She will be a wonderful role model for young women everywhere. We are constantly hit with what a woman really is...and most of us can not and would not want to live up to those "standards". Sarah is a woman that is a REAL woman. She loves God, her country, and her children. What a breath of fresh air!

A night with Granny and Paw

For my 20th High School Reunion, my mom and dad watched the boys. They took them to Sonic, then watched Alvin and the Chipmunks. Dad just sent me the photos of their trip to Sonic. I think Clay said he ate 3 banana splits! Wow...what an awesome night!

Luke and his Momma

New Haircut

Ken taught Tate to say, "cut my hair, mommy" I LOVE Tate's long hair, but the guys wanted it shorter. I finally caved in. It broke my heart. I saved his hair from his first haircut...I am trying to decide if I should save his hair from his second haircut. I will sweep it up and put it in a baggy...then I will think about it. What do you think? Should I save it? Oh Tate...why did you have to be cursed with such gorgeous hair!!! ahhhhh!

Happy Birthday Cole!

Well, today is Cole's 12th birthday. We had Nan and Pop here to celebrate it. He also got to go to his school's first pep rally and he had a great time. This is Cole's last year being a kid...I am sooo sad that he is growing up so quickly. I love you so much Cole!

Michael Phelps...WATCH OUT!

Clay said, "Mom, I want to be like Michael Phelps, watch how fast I can swim!"
I said, "Ok sweetie, show me."
And this is what I got...the most awesome swim ever! I did not know that this could be done. If you look carefully, you will see, yes, yes, Clay is swimming with just one arm! I know you would think that would cause him to make circles...but no. He keeps the left arm down in the water, sort of like a rudder and the right arm does ALL the work. 2020...WATCH OUT!

Happy Birthday Luke!!

Today is Luke's 14th birthday. Time sure does fly by. I can not believe that my sweet first born is 14 and bigger than I am. We had cake and ice cream...it was good. I ate a lot of icing and my teeth turned blue. At, then end, Clay grabbed an air soft shot gun and shot himself in the leg. You may ask, "why?" He did not think it was loaded...but guess what...it was! So, now he has a red mark and it was self-inflicted! haha! That was the entertainment for Luke's party.
We will be celebrating another birthday (Cole's 12th) in 3 more days. So, we will save half of the cake for that day. And for those that are thinking...poor Cole, he won't get a new fresh cake! Well, I will put this cake on a smaller plate and it will seem like it is new! J/K The cake had Luke's name and candles and Cole's name and candles. We can't eat two cakes in one week...ughhhh!! :P
Happy Birthday my sweet Luke!!

Tribute to the Sombrero!
"Copy Cat Sombrero"

Ok...well...since I was jealous of the fun that Aunt Tami, Uncle Bobby, Bobbi, Cooper, Ava, Charlie, Rex, Fluff Dog, and fast food lady were having with Aunt Tami's sombrero, and I knew that we would not be able to get our hands on that salacious sombrero...we made our own fun with our hat from Mexico. This was as close as we could find to the "real" sombrero. The hat was not that much fun at first, but we did warm up to it...and in the end...we had a BLAST! So, here is our tribute to..."The Sombrero!" Our "Copy Cat Sombrero"

20 Year Reunion

Well, it has been so years since I graduated from Redan High school. We went to Atlanta to visit my parents and to go to my reunion. We first visited Jim's (my brothers)apartment. While we were there we played Rock Band and LOVED IT! Later that night my parents took care of the boys and Ken and I went to my reunion. It was really fun seeing old friends. I have to say that everyone looked really good. By our 30th some of us could be grandparents...EEEEKKK! Enjoy the pictures. It is one of the rare times that you will see me in a dress.

Models

While we were school clothes shopping. Dillard's asked if our boys could be models for their children's clothing line. We said sure!Jack was unable to go because he was on the 5th and 6th grade church trip to the beach, but we were able to bring Luke, Cole, Clay, and Tate. They had a treasure chest with a Nintendo DS inside. You had to pick the right key to open it up. Of course our lucky Cole found the right key and won the Nintendo DS. The boys modeled and they looked GREAT! Everyone thought that they were handsome boys. On the way home we saw a bus the said John McCain. I think that John McCain was in there so we waved and I took pictures. You just never know...maybe we drove past the future President of the United States. All and all, it was a good day. Hopefully I can get some pictures of Jack at the beach. :)
